VIRTUS Training Information

In addition to attending the Virtus training session, all volunteers need to submit to a background check via electronic fingerprinting. Contact Todd to set up an appointment after you have attended a Virtus training session.

You can search for training sessions at www.virtus.org.

Fingerprinting appointments are set-up once we have verified you have attended a Virtus session, so the earlier you attend, the sooner you can begin volunteering. 

You are able to volunteer once we have verified you have attended a Virtus session and the results of your background check allow you to do so.

All employees and volunteers who have contact with students undergo thorough screening, including background checks through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation & Identification (BCI&I).
