Preschool is the perfect time to begin a new and educational adventure. St. Michael School provides a faith-filled environment where children are encouraged to explore their curiosity and their imagination. New friendships are fostered and built on treating everyone with love and respect. No two children learn in the same way or at the same pace. We surround our early learners with caring adults who believe early childhood is where the love of learning begins.

Learning in preschool is a collaborative effort, with a firm partnership between teachers, aides, and families. Creativity guides conversations and storytelling in the classroom, while science experiments show that learning can be fun. Through it all, our preschool students are reminded that they are God’s children and loved by Him, as well as a larger school and parish community. The preschool program has a strong curriculum that provides developmentally appropriate programs, builds relationships with the child and family, and includes a variety of stimulating learning activities. While covering the traditional curriculum of religion, language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science, we also provide access to our specials, including physical education, art and music. Classes focus on teaching our youngest learners motor skills, social skills, language development, rhythmic movement, cooperation, and sharing - all in a faith-based environment.

Our preschool students are reminded through all their activities that they are God’s children and loved by Him, and by our school and parish community as a whole. Our classes focus on teaching fine and gross motor skills, social skills and sharing, language development, and classroom behavior and routines - all in a faith-based environment. We use the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd religious education program to help each child grow in their relationship with God through stories and hands-on activities. The program offers a gentle way to enter into and honor the genuine spiritual life of each child.

 

Your child will graduate from Preschool at St. Michael School with the foundation of a well-rounded education, with a joy for learning that will follow them throughout their formative years, and with the tools needed to succeed in the classroom and thrive outside of it. They will be fully prepared for Kindergarten at St. Michael School. We look forward to this journey that both you and your child are beginning with us. See you soon!

Some additional notes for new parents include the knowledge that your child is always safe when they are in our care. Our school building has a secure entry system on each door, as well as an officer to assist students as they enter and exit the building. The preschool has the support of our professional staff and has access to all facilities on the campus. For admission to the St. Michael preschool program, students must be age-appropriate for the grade level by August 15th and be fully toilet trained.​

Tuition Rates and class offerings for the 2024-2025 school year:

3-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL | must turn 3 by August 15th

3 days a week, all day $3,500

3 days a week, half day (AM) $2,800

PRE-K (for ages 4 & 5) | must turn 4 by August 15th

5 days a week, full day  $5,000 

5 days a week, half day, (AM) $3,200

​

Junior Kindergarten | must turn 5 by August 15th

5 Days a week, full day $5,000

Ready to Join Us?

1. Start by downloading and completing our New Student Application. (Available February 9th)

2. Email your complete form to communications@stmichaelschoolinfo.com, and we will be in touch beginning in March.

3. Once you receive confirmation your child has been accepted, you will receive a New Student Registration Form. Please return, with payment non-refundable registration payment of $200, to:

4. Once we receive your completed Registration Form, with payment, you will be notified by the school that you are officially a Blue Angel!
